Escalon is a short drive from Dos Reis Park, Oakwood Lake and Manteca
Waterslides, as well as Knights Ferry, McHenry Recreation area,
Woodward Reservoir, Lake McClure, Lake Tullock, Lake Don Pedro, Lake
New Melones, Modesto Reservoir, Lake Camanche, Lake New Hogan and the
California San Joaquin Delta Waterways. These lakes and rivers provide
for camping, hiking, wildlife trails, fishing, sports and other water
related activities.
For sports enthusiasts, Escalon is just a
short drive away from 2 AAA minor league baseball teams, the Stockton
Ports, the Modesto A's and nearby Stockton, the summer home of the San
